Cable Construction
THHN wires have thin flame-resistant PVC insulation that is covered by an abrasion-resistant nylon jacket.

THWN Nylon Wire and Cable Applications
The nylon material can be cloaked and protected for various types of wire and cable products and can produce wire and cable outer sheaths of different thickness requirements. Such as BVN, BVNVB, THHN, THHWN, and other cable products.
- Its protective layer is tested when the thickness reaches 0.2mm when it can completely prevent the termites from the wire and cable products.
- When the thickness reaches 0.5mm and above, it can effectively prevent rats from biting the wire and cable.
- Thus completely changed the original cable sheath material to add a certain chemical to prevent the rat, termite teeth bite cable method.
The wire and cable made of this material can be used underground, indoors, in tunnels, and in the pipeline, exposed to outdoor, high, and low temperatures and other extreme environments, without any harm to the soil and the surrounding environment, fully meet the ROHS environmental requirements.
THHN stands for "thermoplastic, heat-resistant nylon coating". THHN is the name of particular insulation material, temperature rating, and service condition (suitable for dry and wet locations) for electric wires and cables.
The Nylon Jacket THHN cable is commonly used in AC power distribution systems and is typically rated 110V to 600V. General-purpose wiring in accordance with the National Electrical Code, maximum conductor temperature of 90°C in dry locations, 600 volts. THHN cable may also be used for wiring machine tools, control circuits, or on certain appliances.
