Cable Screen VS Shield
The metal shield is outside the semiconductor and is a copper-skin material, such as high-voltage cables. The shield power cable outside the cable is aluminum or lead, iron material, such as the usual said armored cable, etc. The general order of cable structure is conductor, main insulation, a semiconductor layer, shield, insulation filler, armor sheath, and outer plastic protective layer. Grounding is usually done through the preparation of copper braid with tin solder to the shield layer, and then to the grounding pole.
