Product Introduction

SiTong Cable Cable company mainly provides complete supply services for distributors and suppliers worldwide. Consulting services, purchasing services, transportation services, and after-sales services are included. We have a wide range of quality cables, especially overhead cables, such as AAAC conductor, AAC cable, ACSR, etc. SiTong Cable Cable's overhead conductor cables can be used as overhead power lines, transmission lines, and distribution lines. Different cable conductor materials are available for different spans or lengths and capacities to withstand breaking strength. All aluminum conductors consist of one or more bundles of aluminum wire, depending on the specific application environment of the product. All-aluminum construction is also popular in coastal areas due to its natural corrosion resistance.

Overhead Conductor Cables

AAC — (All Aluminum Conductor)

Conductor AAC is mainly used in urban areas with short distances and close supports. Its characteristics are good corrosion resistance, and it can also be used near the coast.

AAAC — (All Aluminum Alloy Conductor)

Compared with AAC and ACSR, AAAC cable has better strength and weight, better electrical properties, better vertical tensile properties, and better corrosion resistance. These characteristics make AAAC widely recognized and loved by more people in power distribution and medium and high voltage transmission lines.

ACSR — (Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced)

ACSR has a wide range of applications. Suitable for transmission lines of various voltage levels. Can also be laid in rivers, canyons, and places with special geographical features.

Applications

Conductor (AAC conductor, AAAC wire, and ACSR) electronic cables have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels. Because they have such good characteristics as simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, and low-cost large transmission capacity. And they are also suitable for laying across rivers valleys and places with special geographical features.

Service Performance of SiTong Cable Cable

  1. The permissible long-time operating temperature for aerial conductor bundled cable is 70℃.
  2. Under the circumstance that a rare climate is occurring and the ice coverage rate is low in heavy ice areas, the biggest stress of cable at the lowest point of the sag should not exceed 60% of the short-time destructive power.
  3. When connecting conductors, the AAC wire electronic cable beside the connecting tube cant be prominent. Otherwise, the force on the operating conductors will be unbalanced. After connectors are installed, the connecting tube should be painted with moisture-proof varnish in order to protect it from corrosion.
  4. Under installation, the arc downing stress of all the conductors should be the same. Within the permissible distance of crossing buildings or dropping to the ground, the stress can be 10-15% higher than regular stress.

Material Standard of AAC AAAC ACSR Aluminum Conductor

  1. The rigid overhead aluminum conductor used for AAC wire and ACSR conforms to the standard GB/T 17048-1997 (equivalent to IEC 60889:1987).
  2. The zinc-coated steel wire used for ACSR conforms to IEC 60888:1987.
  3. Electronic cable can be arranged according to customers' requirements for material standards, etc.
