Overhead Aerial Bundled Cable

The overhead cable is a very new overhead distribution system compared to the traditional bare wire overhead distribution system. Overhead cables are of type AAC, ACSR, AAAC, ABC.

ABC Cable

That is, overhead type bundled cable, widely used in many underdeveloped areas, including:

- 2 cores
- 3 cores
- 4 cores

Covered line wire, Duplex service drop, Triplex service drop, Quadruplex Service Drop.

It includes all insulated cores, two insulated cores with one bare conductor, three insulated cores with one bare conductor, pure aluminum or pure aluminum and aluminum alloy mixed with stranded, etc.

Product Construction

• Conductor: Aluminum conductor, round-stranded compression type (RM).
• Insulation: XPLE compound, UV resistant.
• Wire core identification:
• 1, 2 resp. 3 raised longitudinal ribs on the surface of the cores.
• The surface of the neutral core should have at least 12 ribs for cross-sections up to 50 mm² and a minimum of 16 ribs for cores above 50 mm².
• In the case of five-core bundles, the surface of the protective core should be smooth.

Application Of Triplex ABC Cable

Aerial Bundle Cable (ABC cable) is a very innovative concept for overhead power distribution as compared to the conventional bare conductor overhead cable.

Suitable for rated voltage 0.6/1kV and below in overhead power lines, can be used as fixed laying or lead-in line, and also for low-voltage cable distribution.

LV Aerial Bundle Cables are designed to supply 600/1000 volt aerial service for temporary service at construction sites, as a service drop (power pole to service entrance), as a secondary cable (pole to pole), or for street lighting.

This overhead cable provides reinforced insulation acc. IEC 61140 and fulfill therefore Class II acc. IEC 61140.

It is not flame retardant. But this could be if the requested change to a flame retardant cable.

0.6/1kV Low Voltage ABC Cable

Low-voltage ABC cable, designed for overhead power lines and room entrance wires with a rated AC pressure of 1kv and below.

It has less installation, maintenance, and operating costs, which can achieve greater economic loss and provide higher security and reliability.

Packaging of SiTong Cable

SiTong Cable cable packaging is provided in the form of wooden reels, corrugated boxes, and coils.

The cable ends are sealed with BOPP self-adhesive tape and a non-hygroscopic sealing cap to protect the cable ends from moisture. We can print the required marks on the outside of the barrel with waterproof material according to customer requirements.
